Dwight Howard’s search for a new home is now over. Despite rumours that previously suggested other destinations, Howard is now a member of the Houston Rockets. The 27-year old NBA star, who most recently played for the L.A. Lakers, will get a new start in Houston under head coach Kevin McHale. Howard made it evident that it was very tough for him to leave Los Angeles, but says the main reason for his departure was the firing of former Lakers coach Phil Jackson, the coach Howard requested before leaving the team. Now the Rockets, who last won a playoff series in the 2008-2009 season, will look to use their new seven-time NBA All-Star to achieve postseason glory.
